H 34 The Pirate Queen
                                    Thorvald Grimsson
Sung To The Tune Of
The Pirate King - Gilbert and Sullivan

Chorus
For she is a pirate queen!
She is! Hurrah for the pirate queen!
And it is, it is a glorious thing to be a pirate queen!
For she is a pirate queen!
She is! Hurrah for the pirate queen!
And it is, it is a glorious thing to be a pirate queen!
It is! Hurrah for the pirate queen!
Hurrah for the pirate queen!

When she sallies forth to seek her prey,
She helps herself in a royal way,
She breaks a few more hearts, it's true,
Than a well-bred monarch ought to do.
But many a queen on a first-class throne,
If she wants to call her heart her own,
Must manage somehow to live through,
More dirty looks than e'er she do.

'Twas on the feast of Valentine,
As we were sitting down to dine,
There swaggered in a dashing lass,
All dressed in colours picked to clash.
With feather of yellow, and shirt of blue,
And breeks of black, with slashes too,
All brightest blue her underhose,
With a burgundy sash where'er she goes.
